Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Fundwise LLC (“Fundwise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit our website, submit a funding application, or otherwise interact with our services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Who We Are
Fundwise operates a lead-generation and matching service that connects small business owners with third-party lenders, brokers, and funding partners (“Lender Partners”). We do not originate loans, advance funds, or make credit decisions ourselves. We are not a lender or a broker.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information: name, email address, password, and phone number when you create an account.
- Business and funding information: business name, industry, state, time-in-business, monthly revenue, funding amount requested, intended use of funds, credit-score range, and similar details you submit through our intake form.
- Communications: messages you send to info@fundwisecapital.com or through support channels.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we and our analytics and advertising providers (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) use cookies, pixels, and SDKs to measure traffic, attribute referrals, and improve the Services.
- Referral data: when you arrive through an affiliate or partner link, we record the referring partner ID so that commissions can be tracked.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and respond to your requests.
- To match you with Lender Partners and to share your application with those partners so they can present funding offers.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services, including fraud prevention and debugging.
- To send you transactional messages (e.g., verification, password reset, application status) and, where permitted, marketing emails about funding products and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. How We Share Your Information
- Lender Partners. When you submit a funding application, we share the information in your application (including business and contact details) with one or more Lender Partners we believe may be able to offer you funding. Once shared, those partners process your information under their own privacy policies.
- Service providers. We use vendors that help us host the site, process authentication, send email, run analytics, and operate the affiliate program. They may access information only as needed to perform their work for us.
- Affiliates and referral partners. If you were referred by an affiliate, we share limited information (such as the fact you submitted an application and whether a deal was funded) so commissions can be calculated.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, legal process, or government requests, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fundwise, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how the Services are used, attribute referrals, and measure marketing performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of certain analytics and advertising cookies through industry tools such as the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info).
6. Your Choices and Rights
- Access and update. You can review and update account information by signing in to your dashboard.
- Marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking unsubscribe.
- Account deletion. You may request deletion of your account by emailing info@fundwisecapital.com. Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., audit, fraud prevention, accounting).
- State privacy rights. Depending on where you live (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or Virginia), you may have the right to know, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email above.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Funding application data is generally retained so that you and our Lender Partners have a record of the transaction.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Services are intended for business owners aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or sent to you by email.
